"I've spent the last decade working on the railroad — various roles that taught me the industry from the ground up, leading to the last five years as a locomotive engineer. And if you know anything about railroading, you know it's not a job that fits neatly into a banker's spreadsheet. Shift work, variable income, union contracts, overtime. It's honest work, and yet the mortgage process can feel like it was designed to confuse people in trades and transportation.
That's exactly why I became a licensed Mortgage Agent (Level 1) in Ontario.
Based in Burlington, I specialize in helping working people — tradespeople, railroad and transit workers, shift workers, and salaried employees alike — navigate the mortgage process without the runaround. I understand variable income, union benefits, and the kind of financial picture that doesn't always translate cleanly on paper, because I live it.
I'm not a career banker. I'm someone who shows up, does the work, and treats your mortgage the way I treat my job on the railroad — with focus, accountability, and zero shortcuts.
If you're buying, renewing, or refinancing in Ontario, let's talk. You deserve an agent who actually understands your life."

What’s your favourite part of being a mortgage agent?

What I love most about being a mortgage agent is helping people fix their financing. I'm new to this industry, but that's exactly why I'm hungry to get it right. After ten years on the railroad, I've watched hardworking people — coworkers, friends, people just like me — struggle with bad financing or get told "no" without anyone taking the time to show them another way forward. That stuck with me. The idea that I can be the person who sits down with someone, looks at their situation honestly, and finds them a solution they didn't think was possible — that's what drew me to this work. Whether it's too much debt, a credit score that needs work, or an income that doesn't fit the bank's standard checklist, there's almost always an option. I want to be the one who finds it.
